Our Data Access Committee
About our Data Access Committee
The role of the Data Access Committee is to assess applications for access to the East Midlands Secure Data Environment.
It will review applications using a number of criteria to ensure data is used only by the right people, in the right way and for relevant research.
The Committee is made up of representatives from the public, data privacy officers, data controllers, research and ethics specialists, who represent the communities of the East Midlands. They will ensure that applications meet our robust requirements both legally and ethically, as well as being in the interests of the health of the public and patients.
The Committee will meet on a monthly basis and its decisions will be published here.
